What Happens When an Alarm is Serviced?

Angel Security’s alarm servicing team has a checklist that they complete when they visit to ensure your alarm has given a full bill of health.

All of your sensors will be checked to ensure that they’re in good working order, and we’ll make sure they’re still covering the right areas for the best possible detection of intruders. We’ll test the electrics and secondary back-up power and check that none of your cables have been damaged or pinched.

When Your Alarm is Faulty

If Angel Security’s alarm technician discovers a broken component during a service, they’ll repair it there and then. There may be a small charge for this. For major faults, we’ll consult you first.

If your burglar alarm is starting to show its age, replacing part of your system might be a more affordable option than a big repair job. You’ll have the option of discussing a replacement system if that’s your preferred solution.

After servicing and repairs, our technicians thoroughly test all alarm systems to ensure the work has been done properly. We’ll give you a written record and remind you when your next alarm servicing appointment will be due.

Upgrades and Improvements

During a service, we might identify parts of the system that can be improved or upgraded to improve performance or security. But we don’t just start making changes. We’ll give you a list of the thing we think you could improve and you can make the decision as to whether you’d like to upgrade your equipment.
